DX not to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year

Triple H want himself to be inducted first before DX’s induction

The D-Generation X faction was in the running to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2013 as per earlier reports. However, it has been revealed that it will not happen this year. It has also come to light that it wouldn’t have happened even if Bruno Sammartino had disagreed to his induction.

Sources reveal that Triple H was against the idea of inducting DX into the Hall of Fame before he gets the honour himself. Vince McMahon wanted DX to headline this year’s induction, but Triple H vetoed Vince’s decision. Triple H’s hall of fame induction is unlikely to happen any time soon since he wishes to work a few more matches before retirement.

If Bruno Sammartino had refused WWE’s hall of fame induction offer, Kevin Nash would’ve been the main focus of the ceremony alongside Mick Foley. But now that Bruno Sammartino has accepted the induction, he will be the headliner of this year’s hall of fame induction ceremony which will be held at Madison Square Garden on the night before Wrestlemania 29.
