Elimination Chamber will be exclusive to the Raw brand this year and would be the first event under the chronology to host a Women's Elimination Chamber match. WWE produced a fantastic show at the Royal Rumble and left fans anticipated for the Road to Wrestle Mania and since Elimination Chamber will be the next stop, it would be expected of the company to produce another solid PPV.
Here are the Early match predictions for Elimination Chamber 2018
#5 The Bar (C) Vs The Revival vs Apollo Crews & Titus O'Neil for the Raw Tag Team Championships
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
The Raw Tag Team Championships will be defended at the Elimination Chamber and it is highly unlikely that the Bar will lose it before Wrestle Mania. WWE must try and focus on building a monumental feud between the Bar & the Revival for Wrestle Mania which seems the perfect way to go.
While some may not agree to the inclusion of Titus Worldwide in this match but, they are necessarily included to take the pin in order to protect the Revival. The match will be a solid entertaining bout and, can definitely kick-off the show in splendid fashion. This bout is highly predictable since there is no legitimate tag-team that can replace the current champions at 'the Grandest Stage of them All'.
Prediction: The Bar will retain the Raw Tag Team Championships
#4 Bray Wyatt Vs Woken Matt Hardy
Well, the WWE Universe must prepare themselves for the Great War which is definitely going to happen and it might be sooner rather than later. WWE pushed Matt Hardy and brought his popular 'Broken' gimmick in the company with a little twist and while it did pay off in its initial tenure but the fans are beginning to get bored with this feud.
Both the superstars clashed at the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw which ended with Bray Wyatt defeating the Woken warrior and furthermore, went on to eliminate each other in the Royal Rumble match. It is likely that WWE will push the envelope with this match at the Elimination Chamber which could see Matt get back his momentum by deleting 'the Eater of Worlds' to set a final clash at WrestleMania.
Prediction: Woken Matt Hardy wins
#3 The Miztourage Vs the Balor Club in a 6-man Tag Team match
If you look at this realistically, you will realize that there is nothing significant left for Finn to do after a disappointing loss to 'the 16-time World Champion' on Monday Night Raw which ended the possibility of him entering the Chamber. Balor has been overlooked as far his potential is concerned and, since WWE is planning to put him in an Intercontinental Championship match against 'the A-Lister' at Wrestle Mania, it would be perfect to book this tag match at the Chamber.
This match is likely to happen at this PPV and will definitely give the opportunity for both the factions to shine and most importantly tell a relevant story going forward to Wrestle Mania 34. Expect the Balor Club to crash the party and get a significant win over here which would bring back Finn's momentum and will be logical to set a blockbuster feud with the Intercontinental Champion.
Prediction: The Balor Club wins
#2 Women's Elimination Chamber Match
WWE will host the First-Ever Women's Elimination Chamber match this year in Nevada and the stakes are higher than ever. Now, after the monumental victory of Asuka at the Royal Rumble, it seems that the company will still want her to challenge the Raw Women's Champion at 'the Grandest Stage of them All' which opens the door for a lot of possibilities in this historical match.
This bout will likely include Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Bayley, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville competing for the top prize on the red brand and while Bliss has been a solid champion, it makes all the sense in the world for WWE to pull the trigger with Sasha Banks and turn her heel. Imagine the possibility of a heel Sasha Banks going on to face 'the Empress of Tomorrow' in a colossal dream match at the 'Show of Shows'. Expect the match to steal the show and, a significant W in the column of the Boss.
Prediction: Sasha Banks turns 'heel' and wins the Raw Women's Championship
#1 The Men's Elimination Chamber Match
The Men's Elimination Chamber match will definitely close the show in splendid fashion and since the match is being contested to find out who will face 'the Beast Incarnate', it is obvious that we will see 'the Big Dog' overcoming the odds to win it all. Well, it's a damn shame that Finn Balor is not involved in this match but, WWE could still try and produce a solid bout this year at the Chamber.
The inclusion of Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan into the mix will also help the company to concentrate on storytelling with wrestling in the background. WWE won't let anyone else walk out of the Chamber except for Roman considering that he has been originally scheduled to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Expect 'the Big Dog' to leave the T-Mobile Arena with a victory by pinning 'the 16-time World Champion'.
Prediction: Roman Reigns becomes the No. 1 contender for the Universal Championship
