The Rated-R Superstar was once the best heel in the company, he was the messiah of dirty tactics and John Cena's ultimate rival.
This impressive run came to an end in 2011 when Edge revealed that he was struggling with cervical spinal stenosis and his wrestling career had to come to an end.
The 11-time world champion relinquished his title and was then added to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012, before exiting the company for several years.
After years of pushing to get back in the ring, and after several on-screen cameos, Edge finally made his return as part of the 2020 Royal Rumble match. After almost nine years on the shelf, The Rated-R Superstar was able to pick up where he left off.
The break has meant that he is now one of the oldest superstars on the main roster, but the former champion hasn't shown any signs of ring rust and continues to perform at the highest level on a regular basis.
