Its no secret that the original intent of The Dean Ambrose heel turn was to finally cement Roman Reigns as the ultimate babyface of the company, but with The Big Dog now out of action battling leukaemia, who now stands to benefit? Furthermore, with the slow start the storyline has taken, will anyone benefit at all from this?

As impossible as that might be to believe, especially since it has the potential to be one of the best storylines of the entire year, the timing and a slow start to the feud could greatly undermine its effectiveness. Beyond that, Rollins is already a white-hot babyface and is going to gain nothing from all this, which makes it's pretty much useless.

In all honesty, this whole storyline just doesn't work without Roman Reigns and it's becoming more and more obvious by the day. What is also becoming obvious is that Ambrose is not going to be able to rebound from this heel turn, which is going to greatly affect WWE's chances of turning him into a tweener and gets fans behind him later on.
