A new Champion has been crowned nine times in the Elimination Chamber. A new World Heavyweight Champion has been crowned four times, the most changes of any title. The WWE Championship has changed hands three times in the Chamber over the years. The ECW and Intercontinental Championships have changed hands once.

There have been five Elimination Chamber matches where number one contender-ship was on the line. These matches determined who would challenge for a championship at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns won the Elimination Chamber match last year. He earned the right to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. He went on to lose that match. The Undertaker is the only wrestler to win a number one contender Chamber match and win the scheduled championship match afterwards. He won at No Way Out 2008 and went on to win the Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 24.
