WWE News: Eric Bischoff speaks on lawsuit against TNA, and potential WWE return

The former WCW President is suing TNA

Eric Bischoff spoke to Ryan Rider of Main Event Radio. In the interview, he stated that amidst a lawsuit with TNA Wrestling and that he has no positive memories while working there.

Bischoff stated his son, Garett, no longer wrestles and that he left the business around the same time Bischoff left TNA.

During June and July, WWE brought back a lot of past General Managers for one-off appearances, which led many people to speculate a Bischoff return, as he is one of the most highly regarded on-screen authority figures in WWE history.

When asked if he would return to WWE as a General Manager or for a one-time appearance, Bischoff first said "Never say never" on twitter, but later stated that it was highly doubtful and that he hadn't been called.

Bischoff was involved in multiple backstage roles in TNA between 2010–2014, along with appearances as an on-screen character as well.

His production company, Bischoff Hervey Entertainment, handled production for TNA during his tenure there and a lawsuit was filed in May 2015 over non-payment.

It is still unclear whether or not the lawsuit is over this issue, but it is highly possible given TNA's history of employees complaining about payment. Garrett Bischoff has stated that he has non-payment issues with TNA as well

TNA severed ties with Eric Bischoff in October 2013 even though he was under contract until 2014.

Bischoff recently started a podcast, "Bischoff on Wrestling", which is co-hosted by Wresltezone Radio's Nick Hausman.
