#2 Megastar+Megastar = A White-Hot Programme
The main event of WrestleMania 35 was promised to be historical, groundbreaking, an emotional rollercoaster and a match that would define a generation of women's wrestling. For once it seemed like there was a genuine chance of WWE actually keeping one of their promises made to the WWE Universe, as the build-up to this high stakes match may have been uneven at times, but it did have that important feel attached to it.
So at WrestleMania, eighty thousand fans in attendance witnessed Becky Lynch stand victorious in the main event to become the Undisputed Women's Champion. It was a moment that would determine the success or failure of women's wrestling going forward, and to make this decision a success WWE needed to keep Becky's hot streak going for as long as possible.
And while this may upset some of the Lacey Evans fans out there, the truth is that it just isn't Evans time to ascend to the main event, as for the past few months WWE has had the talented 'first lady' do nothing other than walk up and down the ramp, and in what sense is that career building?
Becky needs to an adversary that will push her to the limit, someone that would generate enough buzz to keep the energy of her historic title win going for a long time, Becky needed a megastar to work with, and WWE has countless megastars.
There are so many of these megastar wrestlers on Raw and Smackdown Live for Lynch to dabble with, names such as Bayley (who is undergoing an exciting character shift), Sasha Banks and even the underappreciated Asuka as potential excellent rivals for the new champ.
But if WWE is going with Evans, then let's give them a chance, maybe the creative team could make it work, but if they want to keep the Undisputed Women's Title white hot in the industry, then it would be a missed opportunity if they refused to pair Becky with a big name.
