#5 Best Friends def. Angelico & Jack Evans
This was a very overlooked match going into Double or Nothing, but given the popularity of Best Friends and the acumen of Angelico & Jack Evans, it was always bound to be a great contest. There may have been too many false finishes towards the end of the bout, but it was a great introduction for the wider AEW audience to 4 very talented individuals, and it's placed both teams right in the hunt to be crowned first ever AEW Tag Team Champions.
The post match antics weren't received well, as the fans were seemingly confused about the Super Smash Bros, but it sets up yet another tag team in this very competitive tag team division. Ultimately, this one will be largely forgotten due to the quality of match that followed this, but when you re-watch it, it really was a great match with some great high-spots throughout.
