#2 Chris Jericho def. Kenny Omega
While some people didn't agree with Chris Jericho being in the main event of the first ever AEW show, it's the best decision for business. Despite a botch or two throughout, this one was just as good as their Tokyo Dome bout. It didn't top it, but the physicality and the storytelling was there, and you really believed that both Jericho and Kenny Omega were giving their all to claim a shot at becoming the first ever All Elite Wrestling Champion.
The post match segment was the most newsworthy thing from the entire show, but in terms of bell to bell quality, this one was great, and had a true big fight feel about it. While he may not go on to beat Hangman Adam Page for the AEW Championship, this has solidified Jericho as a top star in AEW, and sets up plenty of dream matches going forward, so this did more than just entertain the crowd, and both men should be commended.
