#23 Shinsuke Nakamura (2018)
Shinsuke Nakamura joined WWE after a successful stint in NJPW. In the year 2018, Shinsuke entered his first ever Royal Rumble match and emerged victorious for a world title shot at WrestleMania 34, but he failed to win his match against then WWE Champion AJ Styles.
The Artist is currently a part of the blue brand and will fight against Rusev at Royal Rumble 2019 to reclaim his US championship.
#24 Asuka (2018)
Asuka will always be known as the first female superstar to win the women’s Royal Rumble match as the Empress of Tomorrow outlasted 29 other female superstars to win the 2018 Rumble match. The Japanese wrestler possesses a lot of potential and has exceptional in-ring skills.
The Empress of Tomorrow is the current SmackDown Women’s champion and will defend her title against Becky Lynch at Royal Rumble 2019.
Special mention:
25) Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman won the historic 50-men Royal Rumble match in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2018. Though he did not earn a title shot after that victory, he received a trophy and a special belt for his triumph.
Braun Strowman is one of the top stars of RAW flagship show of WWE currently. He is healing up from his shoulder injury. The Monster Among Men was removed from the Universal title picture last week and the current status of Braun Strowman for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view is unknown.
