This was an overall well-booked pay per view which had a lot of squash matches. It was well received and Brock Lesnar was finally dethroned for the time being.

The Good

Result wise, this was probably the best event of 2018. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles had an incredible match to begin their feud. Roman vs Brock was intelligently booked and had the right result. Rollins and Ziggler had another amazing match.

The squash matches were for the most of it, very fun to watch, with Balor as the Demon King being a particular highlight. Miz and Bryan also had a very innovative finish to what was a solid encounter.

The Bad

This was just an above average pay per view in terms of match quality. Braun Strowman squashed a former Universal Champion in Kevin Owens in one of the most disappointing encounters of the night.

Charlotte winning despite the audience clearly being behind Lynch was disappointing, but it did ultimately lead to the rise of Becky Lynch as one of the top women in the industry.
