#5 Kevin Owens - Defeated Shane McMahon at SummerSlam 2019

In 2019, Kevin Owens became immensely popular with the WWE Universe after he challenged the authority of SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon and criticized him for taking up more screen time than other Superstars on the roster. Owens then faced Shane McMahon in a match at SummerSlam where he promised that he would quit the WWE if he lost against McMahon.

At The Biggest Party of the Summer, Owens defeated McMahon after hitting him with a low blow and a Stunner and saved his job. Currently, Owens is not a part of any feud and won't be appearing at this year's SummerSlam.

#4 Charlotte Flair - Defeated Trish Stratus at SummerSlam 2019

Charlotte Flair displayed one of the best performances of her career when she faced WWE Hall of Famer and seven-time Women's Champion Trish Stratus at SummerSlam 2019. The match came into fruition after Flair insulted Stratus, who appeared as a guest on Jerry Lawler's "The King's Court" on the July 30, 2019 episode of SmackDown. At SummerSlam 2019, Flair defeated Stratus when she made her tap out to the Figure-Eight Leglock.

Earlier this year, Flair won the NXT Women's Championship from Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36 but lost it to Io Shirai at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Soon after, Flair announced that she would be taking a break from WWE to undergo surgery.
