#3 Kofi Kingston - Retained WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2019

Kofi Kingston had the most successful run in his WWE career when he defeated Daniel Bryan last year at WrestleMania 35 to become the WWE Champion for the first time. At SummerSlam 2019, Kingston defended the WWE Championship against Randy Orton.
Orton referenced their past feud and cited that Kingston was able to become champion due to him because had Orton not injured Mustafa Ali, Kingston would never have replaced Ali at the 2019 Elimination Chamber which would later lead to Kingston's championship run.
Their match at SummerSlam, however, ended in a double count-out which allowed Kingston to retain the title. As of this writing, The New Day member is currently off WWE TV due to a storyline injury.
#2 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt - Made his debut at SummerSlam 2019

Bray Wyatt's dark and sinister alter-ego, The Fiend, made his in-ring debut at last year's SummerSlam in a match against Finn Balor. Balor, who had enjoyed an undefeated streak at The Biggest Party of the Summer ever since he made his main roster debut at SummerSlam 2016, met a roadblock in the guise of The Fiend.
The Fiend destroyed Balor in the match and forced him to pass out after applying the Mandible Claw on him. This Sunday, The Fiend will once again make his presence felt at SummerSlam as he will face off against WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman in a title match.
