A long-standing feud on RAW might see its final match at Extreme Rules. When Seth Rollins turned heel, he started feuding with WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio. The masked legend of WWE somehow agitated the self-appointed Messiah of the Red brand.

Therefore, Rollins decided to press Rey Mysterio's face against the steel stairs next to the ring during a match on RAW, with an intention to damage his eye. Following that, Rey Mysterio was forced to take some time off from in-ring action.

In the absence of his nemesis, Seth Rollins continued to lead his disciples Buddy Murphy and Austin Theory in matches against the likes of Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo.

This feud also saw Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik make an appearance on RAW, where he gave Seth Rollins and his Disciples a taste of their own medicine. Both Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio are now set to lock horns in a Single’s match at Extreme Rules.

A win for Rey Mysterio will help WWE put an end to their extended feud on RAW. That said, it is important to note that it is an ‘Eye for an Eye’ match. The stipulation implies that someone’s 'eye will be taken out'. WWE will reportedly use CGI to pull off the stipulation.

It would be better if Mysterio finds his much-deserved win to conclude this feud and move on to other storylines involving other WWE Superstars.
