At some point, Lesnar is going to have to pass the torch to someone. With a limited schedule, Owens would be the ideal choice to make that happen.
Owens has talked openly about facing Lesnar and Undertaker. While a match with the Deadman might not be the optimal choice, Lesnar is surely an opponent who could give the Canadian badass all he can handle. And vice versa.
Lesnar has been portrayed for years as the bully on the school yard while Owens is the new bully in the ring who is as agile as a cruiserweight. There might be an angle where Paul Heyman – the advocate for Lesnar – at some point becomes the advocate for Owens.
