Royal Rumble heads to Phoenix, Arizona next year

Royal Rumble is the most exciting PPV of the year which brings a perfect amalgamation of wrestling and entertainment to our TV screens.

The fans are always charged up to witness this popular event come to life and judging by the response it got this year with Nakamura and Asuka's win, it's safe to say that the company is open to give fans what they want.

The PPV will be held at Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona next year on January 27th, 2019 and the fans will be anticipating another shocking victory. Here are 10 superstars who stand a legitimate chance of winning the 2019 Royal Rumble.

#10 Braun Strowman

W
Will the Monster win the Rumble?

There's no denying that the company sees a main event superstar in Braun Strowman and while the fans totally rejected him during his initial run, his improvisation as a performer won him many accolades later.

He is the most dominant performer on the whole WWE roster today with a legitimate chance to walk out as the Royal Rumble winner in 2019.

The exclusion of big stars will not hamper the company if they focus on making someone like Braun the next big thing and if creative booking pull off a magical story, they definitely could solidify Strowman as a potential headliner for WrestleMania 35.

#9 John Cena

En
A 17th title reign could be on the horizon

There is a high probability that this man could walk out of Phoenix as the winner of the Royal Rumble next year.

The 16-time World Champion lost to the Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 in what was basically a squash match. However, he could be looking to regain his momentum.

Booking John to be involved in a marquee match at 'the Grandest Stage of them all' with a win at the event could seal the deal for a 17th title reign.

A potential John Cena Vs Roman Reigns sequel could also be on the horizon, and while their first match was good, the sequel could be better with the inclusion of the Universal Championship.

#8 Roman Reigns

The Big Dog will always be the favorite

Well, there could be no Royal Rumble without 'the Big Dog' and, despite being booked so strong in the past events, it seems likely that Roman could win the Rumble next year.

There could be divided opinions regarding his booking among the fans, particularly after his loss to Lesnar but since WWE considers him the guy to carry the company for years to come, he will always remain the favorite.

With that being said, booking a rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns could be in the works for next year and either one winning could be monumental heading into 'the Grandest Stage of them All'.

#7 Samoa Joe

E
The Destroyer will continue to make headlines next year

It's rather unfortunate that Samoa Joe has not been able to participate in the Royal Rumble this year due to a minor foot injury and could make a shocking appearance tonight.

The Superstar has dominated Monday Night Raw; having produced results on a weekly basis, but being sidelined from a big event has hampered Joe's credibility.

A debut at the Royal Rumble next year could see the man win the whole thing considering that he has all the ingredients to be a legitimate main event threat.

Since the fans have always been behind Joe, the WWE could pull the trigger on him by elevating him to the top of the mountain.

#6 Seth Rollins

Enter
The Architect deserves the spotlight

The fans were initially disappointed with the creative booking of Seth Rollins in 2017 but his sensational victory at the Super Dome has brought him much momentum.

This year could be a game changer for 'the Architect' if the company decides to build a monumental story line around a Shield Triple threat with a potential win for Rollins applauded and appreciated by legions of his supporters all over the world.

It's about damn time that WWE books Rollins into the main event picture and pushing the envelope with him at the Royal Rumble PPV could be a sign for greater things to come.

The man believes in reinventing himself and a monumental win at the event could ignite a blockbuster feud between the Shield.

#5 Dean Ambrose

A
A character transformation could be path breaking for the Lunatic

The Shield has been the most dominant faction in the WWE in recent memory and while Rollins and Reigns have had their share of success, 'the Lunatic Fringe' has still struggled to be that main event guy.

He has all the ingredients to be a potential headliner of any PPV and it seems likely that WWE will push him to the moon once he returns from injury.

A sensational heel turn could change the landscape of Monday Night Raw and catapult Dean to super stardom which would be amalgamated with a shocking Royal Rumble victory.

The fans have always been behind 'the Lunatic Fringe' and have been anticipating a character transformation from him and, it seems like a legitimate possibility that once he returns and turns on his brothers, he will be money.

#4 The Demon King

The Demon could elevate Balor to the top of the food chain

2018 could be a groundbreaking year for the 'First-Ever Universal Champion' after delivering a fantastic match at WrestleMania 34.

His recent allegiance with his former Bullet Club members has not been fruitful to say the least, but it seems likely that a possible draft to SmackDown Live with his buddies could shape Finn's whole career in the WWE.

A significant 'heel' turn might be in the works and, if the company books a creatively fan friendly match at the Royal Rumble, then it is highly possible that the Demon will reign supreme and punch his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 35.

A blockbuster showdown with AJ Styles and a debuting superstar at 'the Grandest Stage of them All' for the WWE Championship would be monumental to say the least.

#3 AJ Styles

Ent
A phenomenal Royal Rumble could be in the works

Remember the 2016 Royal Rumble where this man made his debut at #3 and blew the roof off?

The Phenomenal One' was the most talked about superstar in the Royal Rumble which ended up being beneficial for him considering that Vince was not very high on AJ as a main event superstar.

His versatility in the ring speaks for itself, this has earned him a top spot on the blue brand and it wouldn't be a surprise if this man walks out of Arizona as the Royal Rumble winner.

From a creative stand-point, this victory makes sense, to start a blockbuster feud with Finn Balor at WrestleMania 35 for the WWE Championship.

A heel Balor as WWE Champion could ignite a brilliant feud with the baby face 'Phenomenal One' with Bullet Club being promoted in the background.

While these two superstars will tear the house down any place they go, there is another superstar who could debut in 2019 and shock the world.

#2 Kenny Omega

Time to 'clean' the house

A potential victory for this man could be a shocker and it makes complete sense considering how marketable he has become on the independent scene.

Kenny Omega would be in the WWE soon, and while he has ruled the wrestling world with the Bullet Club, it's about damn time that he shifts his focus to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.

WWE has done a great job in building stars that have come from NJPW and Kenny's debut could be even more phenomenal than AJ Styles.

He has all the ingredients to take this business to another level and a shocking victory at the Royal Rumble on his debut could set things straight for things to come in the future.

The company could insert him in a blockbuster program between Finn and Styles which would not only be logical but, could be the best feud going into WrestleMania 35.

#1 Daniel Bryan

The l
The Leader of the Yes Movement

After returning in splendid fashion, "The Leader of the Yes Movement" could be in for greater things in 2018.

The former WWE Champion is rumored to win the Greatest Royal Rumble event, to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Considering how popular he is, the WWE could be looking to finally push the envelope and give fans what they want.

Imagining a possibility where Daniel Bryan wins the Royal Rumble and goes on to challenge a heel Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship. That could be gold.
