WWE World Cup, @WWE Crown Jewel Saudi Arabia
The WWE World Cup is coming soon. While details remain under wraps, it's the format to tie down WWE's latest event in Saudi Arabia, just a few months short of WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble. Hopefully, unlike the former, this latter version sticks as it provides a competitive angle for some dream matches.
Yet who's to say stories find a resolution within the randomness of this tournament. That is exactly where the end of sorts will come to Rusev's feud with Aiden English. Taking into account an elimination round tournament of let's say, 32 competitors. Rusev will defeat Shinsuke Nakamura in a first-round qualifier match shocking the world, to reach the top 16.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Aiden English will also surprisingly make it to that sixteen and be faced with the prospect of having to face Rusev. With Nakamura busy and the dynamic of their relationship established with Aiden on a far lower rung, he won't find help from his so-called 'boss'.
On the Smackdown before the big show, Rusev will vanquish Aiden English to land his spot on the top eight of the PPV. This will finally put to rest Rusev's quest for revenge, but not exactly end this feud.
