#5 Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley (Mae Young Classic final)
With two weeks to go until the 32-woman Mae Young Classic is filmed, only 19 competitors have been confirmed for the tournament and we still don’t know who will face who in the early-round matches.
That makes it very difficult to predict who will be in the final, but we’ll have an educated guess that Io Shirai – the 28-year-old Japanese star who is widely considered one of the best female wrestlers in the world – will make it all the way.

As for her opponent, Rhea Ripley only competed for a combined 11 minutes in the 2017 Mae Young Classic, defeating Miranda Salinas before losing to Dakota Kai, but she still made a big impression, so perhaps 2018 could be her breakout year.
