Rusev lost to Shinsuke Nakamura in the pre-show of Royal Rumble 2019

Rusev is one of the most underrated superstars on the current WWE roster. The Bulgarian Brute is a powerhouse who is quite agile. Even with more than 300 pounds of weight, Rusev can move like a cruiserweight, a trait that is exclusive to only a few of the most gifted talents in the world.

However, if someone said WWE has not been treating the Bulgarian Brute well, it would be a massive understatement.

At Roadblock: End of the Line in 2016, Rusev won a kick-off match against Big Cass via count-out. That was the last time he ever won a PPV match. Rusev since has been a part of fifteen PPVs and lost in all of them - the most recent being the loss to Shinsuke Nakamura in the pre-show of Royal Rumble 2019.

Rusev has not even made it past the pre-show since his WWE Championship match against AJ Styles at Extreme Rules 2018.
