#5: SmackDown Women's Championship: Bayley (c.) vs. Tamina

Tamina returned to SmackDown shortly before WrestleMania 36.

Tamina challenged for the SmackDown Women's Championship in a fatal five-way elimination match that also involved Bayley, Sasha Banks, Naomi, and Lacey Evans at WrestleMania 36. She was eliminated after Naomi, Lacey Evans, Sasha Banks, and Bayley all teamed up to eliminate her from the match.

Bayley said that she would give Tamina in a SmackDown Women's Championship match if she managed to defeat Sasha Banks. Tamina was able to get the victory over Banks after Lacey Evans countered the champ's interference. The #1 contender managed to pin the champion in a tag team match, also involving Banks and Evans.

While WWE has done an admirable job in presenting Tamina as a challenge to Bayley's record-setting title reign, the serious money is in a feud between Bayley and Sasha Banks over the SmackDown Women's Championship during the summer. Tamina is obviously just a filler challenger, and this will likely be another successful title defense for Bayley.
