WWE Superstars Finn Balor and JD McDonagh lost their World Tag Team Championship to The War Raiders on this week’s episode of RAW. Lately, The Prince has always looked outward for flaws and shortcomings. Now, there’s a possibility that he could pin the blame on the title loss on McDonagh and kick him out of The Judgment Day.
Finn Balor has been acting superior over the other members of his faction for several weeks now. He has also implied that the other members aren’t capable of doing much. He questioned why the rest of the crew didn’t help him with his Triple Threat World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther and Damian Priest on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Liv Morgan responded that the team was hanging back and trusted Balor’s ability to win the match by himself. Moreover, she also taunted him and said that he should focus on defending the tag titles since The Judgment Day was officially banned from ringside. Hence, the former Demon King can no longer blame the faction for his loss.
This would open the door for the former Universal Champion to shift all the blame for the defeat on JD McDonagh. Notably, the 34-year-old didn’t intervene and attack Damian Priest when he grabbed the steel chair Balor wanted to use in the match. Moreover, The Prince’s collision with the barricade when Priest pulled the chair gave Erik and Ivar the window to win the match.

Lastly, JD also failed to break the pinfall and save the match, falling just short of reaching the pinned-down Balor. Thus, the former Universal Champion could use this to kick him out of the crew. While this is a significant storyline direction WWE can take, all of this is speculation so far.
Finn Balor could leave The Judgment Day as well
The actions and words of Finn Balor for several weeks stand a chance to recoil and blow in his face after his title loss. The former Demon King has already earned the disapproval of Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan isn’t afraid of taunting him and sending indirect jabs his way. Since “Listen to Finn to Win” is no longer applicable, Morgan and Dom could humiliate Balor.
Knowing the inaugural Universal Champion, he isn’t the type to sit and take criticism. Moreover, if Dom and Liv try to tilt the power dynamics, Finn Balor won’t be willing to play a secondary role either. Thus, he could exit the faction himself. It would be interesting to see what the future holds for The Prince.
