Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are no longer the World Tag Team Champions. They lost to the War Raiders in the main event of Monday Night RAW as Damian Priest interfered to cost JD and Balor the contest.

It has been quite a while since we last saw The Demon Finn Balor in WWE. It was during a match against Edge at WrestleMania 39 in April 2023.
The former World Tag Team Champion recently said that the time was not right for The Demon gimmick to come back. However, with everything that has happened lately, it could help him make a fresh start.
No matter if this is one final match against Damian Priest or a new faction, The Demon gimmick could be what Finn Balor needs at the moment to get back on track.

There has been quite a lot of tension in The Judgment Day lately, and this could lead to Balor eventually leaving the faction. The former champion has taken over The Judgment Day, but he hasn't been on the same page with Dominik Mysterio and the reigning Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.
Thus, after his back-to-back losses at Saturday Night's Main Event and Monday Night RAW, a frustrated Finn Balor could announce his decision to leave the faction.

After Monday's loss and a backstage segment with the rest of The Judgment Day, Balor could form a new faction with JD McDonagh and Carlito. This will allow him to start new storylines, while he could assault Dirty Dom and start a feud with him. It would also open the way for new additions to the faction, like AJ Styles, who is currently out with an injury.

Damian Priest took his revenge on Finn Balor, after costing him the World Tag Team Title on RAW. The Punisher has had a rivalry with his former friend since SummerSlam, and now things are expected to intensify.
Balor will seek revenge and it is a no-brainer that the two megastars will fight once again. RAW GM Adam Pearce could make the match official for the RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6, but this time a stipulation could be added, making it a Loser Leaves RAW match.
With WWE Transfer Window open, such a stipulation would make sense, since one of the two would leave the red brand and move to SmackDown for new storylines.
