Finn Balor has been pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship ever since Triple H reintroduced it. Currently, The Prince holds the World Tag Team Championship, but he is still laser-focused on winning the singles gold from Gunther.

The Judgment Day member will challenge The Ring General at Saturday Night's Main Event for the World Heavyweight Championship. While Gunther is the heavy favorite, Finn Balor needs to be in a position to actually make it to the ring to even have a shot. Let's not forget the way he cost Damian Priest the chance to dethrone Gunther at Survivor Series. The Archer of Infamy will not sit back silently while Balor goes after the title.

On tonight's RAW, Damian Priest can brutally assault his former stablemate, which can lead to an injury. With Balor injured, Gunther will not have a challenger for Saturday Night's Main Event. The Ring General can either have an open challenge or cut a promo about his dominance as the red show's top champion.

With Balor and Priest both pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship, Triple H can book a triple threat match in the upcoming weeks, just in time for RAW's debut on Netflix. Furthermore, WWE can use Balor's injury angle to increase the tension between Dominik Mysterio and The Prince.

It so happens that Dirty Dom can substitute for Finn Balor, and defend the World Tag Team Championship with JD McDonagh. If Mysterio fails to defend the title successfully and ends up losing it, Finn Balor will be infuriated with Mysterio. In fact, it can lead to the final fallout of Judgment Day!

JD McDonagh made a huge claim about his tag team championship run with Finn Balor

The WWE Tag Team Championship has changed hands multiple times since The Judgment Day members became the World Tag Team Champion. Most recently, DIY dethroned Motor City Machine Guns, who had previously dethroned The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

It so happens that Balor and McDonagh have been champions throughout that time, and the latter made a statement about it on social media.

"There have been FOUR sets of WWE Tag Team Champions over on SmackDown since me and @FinnBalor won the World Tag Titles. A generational run!!"

The only reason they have been champions throughout is because the World Tag Team Championship hasn't been represented the way it should have been on RAW. Balor's ongoing feud with Damian Priest has taken precedence.
