#2. Return to edgier content
The WWE Universe has been clamouring for edgier content for quite some time now, and with the addition of Eric Bishoff and Paul Heyman as executive directors, the fans may get what they want. In fact, with both Heyman and Bischoff's perspective, expertise and their ability to think outside the box, WWE should be in better hands going forward.
Of course, the edginess of the content will never reach the levels of the late '90s or even the early 2000s, but introducing more mature storylines into the mix will be a great way to draw older fans back into the fold. It will also keep the younger fans transfixed on the product, with them becoming more than eager to see what's next.

In the end, it may not be The Attitude era or The Ruthless aggression era, especially since that would put WWE in trouble with its sponsors and maybe, even their respective networks, but, Bischoff and Heyman are more than capable of creating a similar product within the given boundaries.
