A win over Kurt Angle would do a lot for Baron Corbin's career!

Another match for the ages would be putting Baron Corbin in the ring with Kurt Angle for control of Monday Night Raw. While it already seems like the current storyline is heading into that direction, especially with Stephanie McMahon's renewed presence on Monday Night Raw, it might get scrapped in favour of Balor versus Corbin.

Not only is that match bad from the perspective that WWE already did that at Extreme Rules last month, it also seems to be more of placeholder than anything else and doesn't allow Balor or Corbin to gain any real sense of momentum after a match like this. In fact, one could argue that a win against Balor would mean nothing for Corbin, which is why a match with Angle is preferable.
