Five Greatest Moments From WrestleMania 35

WrestleMania 35 was certainly a sight to behold!
WrestleMania 35 was certainly a sight to behold!

What The WWE Universe witnessed throughout the entirety of The Show of Shows was nothing short of amazing and awe inspiring. Beyond that, it had a chaotic anything can happen feel to it from beginning to end, which only amplified everything that took place inside and outside the ring.

If nothing else, it was certainly the best WrestleMania that WWE has put on in a quite a while and pretty much sets the standard for what the future of The Show of Shows should look like. Of course the pay per view had a bad match here and there and the fans definitely had some issues to deal with, but all those were overshadowed by what the company did right.

With that being said, lets do like DX and break down the five greatest moments from WrestleMania 35. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what your favorite moment of the entire show was!

#5 John Cena returns

John Cena returning was one of the best parts of WrestleMania 35!
John Cena returning was one of the best parts of WrestleMania 35!

In all honesty, John Cena's return at WrestleMania 35 was a stunner by WWE and something fans probably wish the company would do more often. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen and will depend on the reaction that the company received from the segment, but just to see Cena in his own gimmick and dropping not safe for work lyrics was amazing.

It also was this magical moment that kind of existed in a bubble and didn't really affect any of the company's current storylines. Sure, Elias got decked with an A.A for good measure, but its not like he lost in match or anything like that, and he also got to have his moment to shine as well.

In the end, it was brilliant storytellling by WWE and hopefully something they are willing to revisit some time soon in the future.

#4 The Miz versus Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon deserved everything he got at WrestleMania 35!

There wasn't a lot of buzz going on when it came to the match between Shane McMahon and The Miz at WrestleMania 35, but all of that changed the moment The Miz's father jumped over the barricade to defend his son. Not only was it the kind of "what the heck" moment the company is known for at the biggest stage of them all, it also made things extra personal in the process.

Beyond all that, it set the stage for the absolute beating that Shane McMahon would receive over the next couple of minutes as the pair made their way through the crowd, through the announce desk, and into a tech area. The moment became even more jaw dropping when fans realized that Shane McMahon was trapped and the only place to go was down.

And down they went thanks to a magnificent suplex by The Miz onto the arena floor, which sent The WWE Universe into an absolute frenzy. If nothing else, this match oozed personality and brutality in a way that few other matches could. It also set the stage for what could be the biggest babyface run of The Miz's career.

#3 Finn Balor's entrance

In all honesty, Finn Balor's entrance at WrestleMania wasn't all that special. However, it didn't need to be, as seeing Finn Balor as the demon king once again would more than make up for an elaborate entrance. Fortunately for The WWE Universe, the company didn't disappoint and when the mist cleared, The Demon King crawled his way down the ramp.

From the lighting, to the special effects storm cloud that hovered over the arena, it was just an amazing display of what WWE is capable of doing with Finn Balor when they want to. Whether this string of production quality continues or not is anyone's guess, but it was The WrestleMania moment that Balor has deserved for quite some time now.

Again, maybe it's just a one off, but if so, that only make it that much more special than what it already is. It also gave Balor the momentum that he is going to need over the next couple of months, which is very important considering he is still stuck in the undercard and will likely be there for quite awhile.

#2 Triple H beating Batista

Batista played the game and lost!
Batista played the game and lost!

There was a lot of what ifs heading into the match between Triple H and Batista, but one of the biggest had to be whether this would be Triple H's final match or not. Of course everyone in The WWE Universe wanted him to continue his career, even if it was in just short gasps at this point, but with the match approaching, no one knew if they would get the result they wanted.

Fortunately for The WWE Universe, they did get what they wanted and Triple H laid out Batista with a final pedigree before hooking the leg for the three count. While the match didn't exactly have the magic that the others did throughout the night, the two competitors made up for it with sheer brutality, and watching Batista be on the losing end of it was nice to see.

In the end, Triple H finally got his win against Batista and vanquished The Animal back to Hollywood forever. Furthermore, hearing Shawn Michaels on commentary and a suprise run in from Ric Flair was icing on the cake for what was already a stellar match between The Animal and The Game.

#1 Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar

And just like that, Seth Rollins is your new Universal Champion!
And just like that, Seth Rollins is your new Universal Champion!

Everything about this match was an absolute thriller

From the moment Paul Heyman powerwalked his way to the ring and demanded that The Universal title match go on first, to Seth Rollins's multiple curb stomps on the beast, this is a match that had The WWE Universe enthralled from beginning to end and would set the stage for what would happen for the rest of the night.

It also finally relieved Brock Lesnar of his Universal title and put the belt on a fighting champion in Seth Rolllins. If nothing else, this represents a seismic shift in The WWE landscape which will be fun to watch develop over the next couple of weeks and could lead to some exciting possibilities down the road.

In the end, it was an OMG moment in a plethora of OMG moments and it did everything possible to excite the crowd from beginning to end. Think about it! The crowd was so into every single moment of this match and watched with their jaws dropped as Seth Rollins hit a third Stomp to end The Beast's reign of terror.

It's over people!
