#3 Hurts Undertaker and John Cena
Let's talk about this nightmare scenario in depth for a minute.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
In fact, let's say that The Undertaker is somehow able to come out of this matchup with a victory over one of WWE's top draws. What does it achieve? Who does that even benefit in the end? Now that's not to say that the match up doesn't have all the makings of a dream match bundled in it, but it does absolutely nothing at the end of the day.
Not only does it do absolutely nothing for the future of the company, it also could have devastating effects on both superstars as well. Sure a victory for The Phenom would be fun to see, especially after the defeat he took last year in the main event, but that would add a third straight loss for John Cena.
It's no secret that Cena losing would begin to crack away at his rock solid credibility and also start to hurt him as a box office draw as well. With that being said, if the reverse happened and John Cena somehow walked away with the victory of a lifetime, it means that The Undertaker now has three losses at Mania and two in a row at that!
Neither of those are good scenarios for WWE and is only going to significantly hurt the product by doing this. In the end, hopefully, WWE decides on different match ups for both superstars and doesn't put this doomsday match into play. Either that or try to justify one of the biggest blunders in WWE history.
