#3 Doesn't benefit the product

How does WWE doing this type of content benefit the product?
How does WWE doing this type of content benefit the product?

Admit it!

Besides putting temporary eyeballs on the product, there is absolutely no purpose to doing this kind of mature content. Of course, some fans will probably claim that more people watching, even temporarily is a good thing, but not if it's only a small minority of the overall show!

Beyond that, the segments they have done already barely make sense and don't do much to further storylines. While Naomi versus Mandy Rose might be a slight exception to that, the implication of Mandy Rose wanting to be a homewrecker is a very negative connotation that is going to hurt her later on.

Sure, she's already admitted that she is just doing it to get back at Naomi, but WWE is having their fun with it in the meantime and it's making Rose appear very shallow. If nothing else, this isn't the kind of character WWE should have envisioned with a star like Rose and should be doing better things with her.

In the end, these segments benefit nothing and further nothing. They ultimately seem to just exist and serve no purpose beyond that. Again, some might claim that temporary eyeballs can become permanent eyeballs, but not if they are expecting every segment involving women to be them taking their clothes off.
