What is WWE thinking?

The company has spent years toeing the line between a family friendly product and engaging entertainment for older fans, so why would they start doing more racy content now? Maybe it has to do with the fact that WWE just rang in the new era a few months ago and are trying to get older fans interested in watching again, but what does that mean for potential advertisers?

While WWE seems more interested in pleasing their fans right now, which is a great thing for anyone that has endured the last couple of months of lackluster booking, it should not come at the expense of potential advertisers. With that being said and WWE toning down their content in the past due to sponsors, one can only imagine that it will happen again.

In the end, WWE to be proactive and get away from this kind of content as soon as possible. If not, however, they risk turning off current and potential sponsors, which could hurt their overall bottom line later.
