1. Bobby Roode & Tye Dillinger
Bobby Roode & Tye Dillinger would be a very interesting team for WWE to consider. This team has an explosive history in NXT. Roode recruited Dillinger to be his partner in the 2016 Dusty Rhodes Classic then promptly walked out on him during the first match of the tournament. It led to a brief feud between the two.
Roode is currently caught up in a mid-card feud with Elias that he is losing. Dillinger is another WWE Superstar trapped in a rut. WWE should revisit their old story from NXT with a new tag team resulting. Roode could attempt another partnership with Dillinger. Over a few weeks, Dillinger would be rightfully sceptical and refuse the offers before the team is finally formed.
If these hypothetical tag teams became reality, they could be a path to greatness for one or more of these WWE Superstars. WWE legends such as Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and The Undertaker have their roots in the tag team division. Who knows if they would have had the same success without The Rockers, The Hart Foundation, or The Skyscrapers.
