The Miz will no doubt be feeling upset about what transpired on WWE RAW, and he could take it all out on Edge. The two-time WWE Champion may blame The Rated R Superstar for what went down, and then completely turn the tables.

The Miz may focus on Edge's wife Beth Phoenix to try and rile him up and get under his skin to add further layers to the feud. It may ultimately lead to Beth appearing in the storyline with a possible Edge & Beth vs. Miz & Maryse somewhere down the line.

How dare Maryse embarrass The Miz like that in front of the world. In the midst of one of the biggest feuds of his career and his wife turns on him like that? The Miz deep down will surely be seething about her actions.

He may conclude that he no longer needs Maryse by his side any more in WWE. He ended up winning the WWE Championship earlier this year without her assistance, after all.

This may disappoint his wife, who may still appear each week to try and help him and it ultimately becomes a key part of the storyline.
