What was the end of the couple's relationship really like?

There were many different angles to cover after the breakup between John Cena and Nikki Bella was announced earlier in April and one of the biggest ones was Nikki's friend that spoke out on the matter. Not only did the friend of The Bella's claim that Brie was worried about Nikki sacrificing too much for John, but also that Brie wanted to kill him for hurting Nikki.

“On one level, Brie wants to kill him, sure," the friend said in an interview, "No one should be allowed to hurt her sister like this. But honestly, on another level, there’s relief,” the source says. “Nikki was bending over backward to accommodate this guy and everyone, especially Brie, was worried that she was sacrificing way, way too much — most of all, motherhood.”

With that being said and the upcoming season of Total Bellas just around the corner, it is going to be interesting for fans to see exactly what the friend was talking about when they mentioned the sacrifices that Nikki made. They will also probably want to see Brie's original reaction to the breakup, which could be particularly fun to watch.
