Monday night Raw isn't the only brand with some work to do and while SmackDown Live may not have many problems as the red brand right now, they have some serious work to do in the build to The TLC pay per view. Beyond that, The blue brand needs to explain some of its actions from the previous week, which left fans absolutely stunned
Of course one of the points of good storytelling is to make people feel an emotion, but the company still needs to use that newfound momentum in a meaningful way. Furthermore, they need to be able to do all this with a one hour handicap compared to Raw, which will only make things more difficult for the blue brand
With that being said and SmackDown Live only a few days away, here is everything they need to do in order to move forward in a positive way towards TLC. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and also be sure to tell us what you think Smackdown Live needs to do on this week's edition of the show!

#5 Let Daniel Bryan explain himself
What happened?
That has to be the question that The WWE Universe is asking themselves after watching Daniel Bryan turn heel right in front of their very eyes, which has the fans desperate for an explanation as to why he would do this. Of course WWE could always just hold off on the explanation and draw things out, but they risk hurting the overall storyline in the process.
In fact, if you look at how long WWE waited before Ambrose gave his explanation as to why he betrayed Seth Rollins, you will see that the move hurt the overall storyline. It also killed any momentum the storyline had and forced WWE to give a lame explanation that didn't really live up to the fans' expectations.
With that being said, WWE needs to give fans a reason as to why this happeend and what Bryan's intentions are going forward.
#4 Have Samoa Joe ambush The SmackDown Survivor Series team
There are two things WWE can achieve with this.
The first is to give Samoa Joe his momentum back after being the first one eliminated from the men's Survivor Series match and the second thing is to write Shane McMahon off of television for the foreseeable future. Beyond that, it could also cement a face turn for The Miz, which is seemingly the direction the company is going with things.
All WWE has to do is have Shane McMahon and the rest of The Survivor Series team out in the ring to face the consequences of not winning and then bring Samoa Joe out. Then McMahon punishes him for being eliminated first, which pisses him off and causes him to attack Shane
Joe can then turn his attention to the rest of the the Survivor Series team and set up a feud with one of them. Maybe WWE could even have Joe attack The Miz, which will go a long way in turning the former Champion into a face for the first time in awhile and setting up a match between the two at TLC.
#3 Introduce a new number one contender for The United States title
Shinsuke Nakamura took a huge loss to Seth Rollins at Survivor Series and while it was a very entertaining dream match between the two, Nakamura still needs some kind of momentum moving forward. He also hasn't had a solid feud or opponent for quite a while now, which is another reason why WWE needs to get something going.
With that being said and WWE seemingly teasing a match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton earlier this year, maybe the company should have the two butt heads over the US Title. In fact, not only would it help Nakamura gain some of his momentum back, it also puts two very entertaining storytellers in the ring together.
Think about it! Rollins versus Nakamura was already a thriller from beginning to end and WWE could probably do the same with Orton and Nakamura as well. In the end, its up to the company on what they want to do here, but The RKO versus The Kinshasa would be a very interesting feud to watch.
#2 Cement Becky Lynch as a babyface
Let's be honest here.
As awesome as Becky Lynch's heel turn was, her injury has put the The WWE Universe more on her side than ever before and the company is only going against the grain by keeping her as bad guy. In fact, with the amount of fans that are currently behind Lynch as champion, the company could easily turn her face or even a tweener if they wanted to.
Of course to achieve all this, WWE is going to have to turn someone heel and have them attack Becky Lynch, but Lynch could easily get her momentum back in the weeks following the beatdown. Furthermore, WWE could always blame the ambush on Lynch still not being 100%, which will make the beatdown even more gruesome for fans.
In the end, maybe WWE could even have Asuka reveal that she was upset about not being picked to replace Lynch at Survivor Series, which is why she decided to turn on the champion. If nothing else, this at least sets up a feud between the two at the upcoming TLC pay per view and gives Auska the main event spot she deserves again.
#1 Have Daniel Bryan lose the title back to AJ Styles
SmackDown Live needs to gain some of its momentum back after being decimated by Monday night Raw at Survivor Series and what better way to do that than by having a title match on the next edition of the blue brand? Its also a great way to move the feud between Styles and Daniel Bryan forward, which is crucial with TLC only a few weeks away.
With that being said, and Daniel Bryan looking like an absolute badass in his match against Brock Lesnar, Styles winning the title back isn't really going to hurt Daniel Bryan at all. In fact, it would hurt Bryan more if WWE waited a few weeks for Bryan to heal up after his match from Lesnar and then took the title off of him.
In the end, it is the perfect time, perfect place and perfect setting, which are all reasons why this should absolutely be the the blue brand's main event on Tuesday night. In the end, it will also be something exciting for the fans to watch after a disappointing Survivor Series for team blue and could go a long way in getting the show back on track.
