WWE needed to make this change a long time ago and while they hopefully will at Summerslam, it seems like the company is setting up for James Ellsworth to interfere somehow. If this is true and that really is what WWE is planning next, it creates a situation where once again The title isn't the focus of the women's division.

That's what it should be, but WWE has decided again and again to go to cheap heat comedy gimmicks with Carmella and James Ellsworth. Not only have these segments succeeded in making Carmella's run with the title into a complete joke, it also started to affect the quality of the division as well.

With that being said, Charlotte or Becky Lynch really need to wrestle the title away from Carmella and do a program that doesn't involve her. Of course, that doesn't mean Carmella can't get a rematch on Smackdown Live the next week, but the important thing is that WWE moves away from Carmella as a title contender.
