Once again Samoa Joe makes an appearance on this list because of how dominant he has been in recent times. CM Punk, on the other hand, was one of the best heels to ever work in the WWE and his name still resonates among wrestling fans. If the two men were to be embroiled in a feud in the WWE, it would undoubtedly produce some of the best promos in ever. The matches would captivate the fans especially if it were booked as a heel vs. heel. It could be among the best matches in WWE history and even a WrestleMania main event.

Despite the fans being hungry for such a match, it has an exceptionally low probability of happening in the WWE because of how CM Punk left the company. Ring of Honor comes to the rescue once again as while both superstars were at the promotion they competed in iconic bouts. While Samoa Joe was the ROH World Champion, he defended his title against Punk three times. Their second match was so good that Dave Meltzer gave it five stars. For seven years no American match had gotten that coveted rating which goes to show how good that match would be for the WWE.
