They then attacked Angle, and Mae unexpectedly kissed him. This unscripted moment took place on WWE television, with the company having never planned for it to happen.

Interestingly, this wasn't the first time Angle and Mae Young shared a segment. On one occasion, Angle even hit an Angle Slam on Mae Young in the middle of the ring.

According to Angle, Edge was furious about the incident. However, Angle admitted that he couldn’t be upset about his unscripted kiss moment with Mae, as he felt that reacting negatively would make him look like a sore loser.

"A month prior to this, they did the same thing to Edge. He was so mad. And it was like, when they did it to me, I was like, ' I can't be mad, because I'm gonna look like a sore loser. A spoiled brat.' So I pretended that I liked it. I didn't," Angle said.

Instead, he pretended to enjoy the unexpected moment, unlike Edge, who openly expressed frustration.

The Judgment Day member explained that they had only thought about it two hours before the show and didn’t want everyone to know. However, Finn Balor had an idea that the unscripted kiss might take place.

#2. AJ Lee and CM Punk's kiss on WWE television was not went planned

AJ Lee, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk were once involved in a love triangle storyline on television. During this storyline, AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan kissed, but soon after this, Lee also kissed CM Punk at ringside. At that moment, the Best in the World was supposed to stand with his arms extended as if he were calling for help while being kissed by Lee, but things did not go as planned.

AJ Lee also disclosed how she initially felt violated, but it eventually resulted in one of the best moments of her life. The 37-year-old star proclaimed:

"There is an unwritten rule in on-screen kisses: no goddamn tongue. Tongue makes the moment too intimate, too real. For a moment, I felt violated. Then I was infuriated. Then, I was immediately very okay with it. Phil put his arm around my waist and pulled me tight to his body. I clawed at his shoulder. Every single person in that building disappeared. It was the best kiss of my entire life. What was supposed to be an unreciprocated peck was now bordering on smut, a hard-core make-out session, going twenty seconds overtime—live on air."

This means that initially, she felt uncomfortable, but Lee eventually ended up enjoying the unscripted moment.

#1. Becky Lynch and Ric Flair's kiss on live WWE television was not intended

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have a history together. During one of their matches, Ric Flair was at ringside, accompanying his daughter.
