WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio may soon be joined by a new mystery wrestler on RAW’s Netflix premiere. Interestingly, however, there’s a chance that this unnamed star could be AEW’s former talent Penta El Zero Miedo. Moreover, instead of helping Mysterio, he could take him out instead.
Penta El Zero Miedo has been a free agent since November 2024. The masked luchador had a five-year run in AEW and was reportedly signed by WWE a few weeks ago.
Going by the current storyline, there's a possibility that he could tag along with Rey Mysterio to face The New Day. Penta also sent a cryptic message recently, hinting at his imminent debut in the Stamford-based promotion.

Notably, Penta El Zero Miedo’s image in the post is inspired by the DC Comics villain, The Joker. Thus, there’s a big possibility that while he would be teaming up with a babyface star, he would turn heel on the Hall of Famer. Although this is a probable approach WWE can take, all of this is speculation so far.
An attack on Rey Mysterio could make the WWE Universe witness a huge babyface turn
Dominik Mysterio had entered WWE as his father's tag team partner. However, the duo ultimately fell out and Dirty Dom betrayed his father to join The Judgment Day. Since then, the 27-year-old has shown a lot of hate for the Hall of Famer, calling him a “Deadbeat Dad.”
Interestingly, the Stamford-based promotion has dropped a few hints showcasing that Dominik Mysterio could turn into a babyface soon. Moreover, Dirty Dom has also lately been standing up to Finn Balor in The Judgment Day and has also tried to bring order to the heel crew, which is riddled with cracks.
Dom also recently blew The New Day off when they asked him if he understood their reasons for kicking Big E out of their faction. If Penta El Zero Miedo arrives in WWE and backstabs Rey Mysterio, it could trigger a reaction from his son.
The company could use this to eventually deliver a huge babyface turn where Dom finally fights for the sake of his dad and takes the fight to Penta. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for Dominik and Rey Mysterio.
