After the Survivor Series Premium Live Event, WWE is preparing for the next major show, Saturday Night's Main Event. The two-hour special will take place on December 14 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Multiple big title matches have been confirmed for the show, and top stars, including Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Liv Morgan, among others, will be in action. Another star who could be in action at Saturday Night's Main Event is Shinsuke Nakamura. He returned after nearly seven months and dethroned LA Knight at Survivor Series to become the new United States Champion.
Nakamura will show up on SmackDown this Friday and could issue an open challenge for Saturday Night's Main Event, putting his title on the line for the first time. The superstar who can answer it could be former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo.
According to a report from Fightful, Penta parted ways with All Elite Wrestling after his contract expired. WWE has emerged as a frontrunner to sign him. Penta could sign with the Stamford-based promotion before Saturday Night's Main Event and show up in the event to dethrone Shinsuke Nakamura. He would make an ideal debut with the company, starting a feud with the Japanese star, who would look to reclaim his title.

What plans does WWE have for Saturday Night's Main Event?
WWE brings Saturday Night's Main Event back after 16 years as part of the company's deal with NBC, which will last until late 2029.
The event will see Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. The rivalry between the two has become personal after KO assaulted Randy Orton. Meanwhile, Finn Balor will get a title shot after a very long time and will look to dethrone Gunther and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
After what happened at Survivor Series, though, the expectation is that Damian Priest will show up and assault Finn Balor after the latter cost him the title for a second straight time.
Liv Morgan will defend her Women's World Championship against IYO SKY, who wants to become champion for the first time since WrestleMania 40. Morgan will also have her eyes open for Rhea Ripley, who returned from her injury sooner than expected and wants to dethrone Liv and reclaim the Women's World Championship.
That said, it remains to be seen if more matches will be announced for the show this Friday on SmackDown.
