CM Punk had the final say in the title match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams on NXT's premiere on CW. The Best in the World was the Special Guest Referee for the bout that saw Trick Williams reclaim the NXT Championship.
During the match, CM Punk and Ethan Page confronted each other several times, eventually leading to Punk using his GTS finishing move on the former AEW star. This could be the first step towards a feud between the two WWE Superstars and with Bad Blood fast approaching, Ethan Page could be out for revenge on The Best in the World.
CM Punk will end his rivalry with Drew McIntyre this Saturday at Bad Blood, where the two megastars will collide in a Hell in a Cell Match. After what happened on NXT, Ethan Page could show up during the match to distract Punk, resulting in the latter's defeat.

Punk and Page will then start their feud, which could lead to a match either on NXT or at one of the coming premium live events. Meanwhile, for CM Punk, it would be the perfect chance to work on a new storyline before re-igniting his rivalry with Seth Rollins.

CM Punk took another shot at Drew McIntyre before Bad Blood
The war of words between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre continued just days before their Hell in a Cell Match at Bad Blood.
The two megastars had one last face-off on Monday, but The Best in the World didn't stop there. He took another shot at The Scottish Warrior during an appearance on Spiegel & Holmes on 670 The Score.
"People enjoy a good rivalry. I think Drew is a piece of sh*t. Asking me what I think of him is kind of a loaded question. You’re not going to get me to say anything really flattering about him. It’s a good car crash. I understandepeople like to watch that. They like to watch a good blood feud. I like when the Blackhawks play…they don’t really play Detroit anymore. Minnesota? I like when the Cubs play the (White) Sox, a little crosstown rivalry. I get it," Punk said.
Punk and McIntyre have gone back and forth for months, but their rivalry will be settled once and for all on Saturday. Given what we have seen so far from both megastars, Ethan Page might not be the only one to try and interfere in the match.
