Sheamus endured a torrid night on this week's episode of WWE RAW. The Celtic Warrior beat Bronson Reed, but a former ally turned his back on him.
Pete Dunne attacked his former Brawling Brutes leader to continue their intriguing storyline. It looks like the Brit has turned heel and is targeting his longtime friend with tag team partner Tyler Bate out of action. The Bruiserweight could call upon William Regal, who knows a thing or two about taking a dastardly approach to finding success in WWE.
William Regal knows Pete Dunne as he was his general manager during the latter's development in NXT. His growth came under the iconic former King of the Ring, and an affiliation could do the 30-year-old wonders.

Pete Dunne could kickstart his feud with Sheamus by making William Regal his manager
There might not be a better WWE legend out there to manage Pete Dunne than William Regal. Their history and British rapport make a partnership between the duo enticing.
Furthermore, Regal knows Sheamus, and his tactile ways could majorly benefit Dunne if he were to feud with the Irish star. The four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion has credited the former RAW General Manager for helping him during his career.
Fans still don't know why Pete Dunne has issues with Sheamus. He ditched the Butch character that was placed upon him when arriving on the main roster. It was the persona used during his time in the Brawling Brutes, and he could blame his former ally for that dark period in his career.
Regal and Dunne's affiliation could lead to Tyler Bate's return or No Quarter Catch Crew's call-up
Pete Dunne has been without his tag team partner Tyler Bate since the July 2 edition of WWE NXT. The other half of New Catch Republic, unfortunately, tore his left pectoral muscle and has undergone surgery.
This injury takes around six months to heal, leaving Dunne ample time to make a name for himself in WWE RAW's singles division. He could venture toward the Intercontinental title picture once he's done with Sheamus and do so in cahoots with William Regal.
However, Bate will eventually return; when he does, he could hesitate to reunite with Dunne. He may feel he doesn't trust the man his former tag partner has become or his alignment with Regal.
Tyler Bate isn't the only superstar who could take umbrage with a partnership between Dunne and Regal. The latter's son, Charlie Dempsey, is performing in WWE NXT as a member of No Quarter Catch Crew.
Dempsey's main roster call-up could come amid his father's growing bond with Dunne. Once the Bruiswerweight is done with Sheamus, that would be an intriguing storyline.
William Regal is a massive admirer of Pete Dunne
Pete Dunne's stock has grown throughout his time in the Stamford-based promotion, not only as an in-ring competitor but also as a booker. He has impressed in WWE NXT/NXT UK, where fans were first introduced to his British Strong Style.
William Regal delved into the type of individual Dunne is not only in-ring but also out of it. His praise of the former WWE United Kingdom Champion three years ago spoke volumes of how highly he regards him:
"He’s very wise... Beyond his years. He’s incredibly professional, and very good at what he does, which is always a bonus! He’s level-headed. He doesn’t cause any trouble and, with his age group and the people around him, he’s an influence on them just by the way he acts. He doesn’t have to enforce anything on anybody, they just gravitate towards him because he’s just a very likable, smart fella who keeps his head down, is polite and will help people." Fans have long waited for a Pete Dunne solo run on the main roster, and now he has the chance to shine, starting against Sheamus. He could reach the main event level if he works on and off screen with one of the most respected figures in pro wrestling history, William Regal.
