Now that the Backlash event has concluded, a staple of WWE RAW might return to liven up the main roster.
Aliyah, the record-holder for the fastest win in history, had a healthy run on the red brand prior to her disappearance. Her potential comeback run could, therefore, prove to be an exciting journey.
The former Women's Tag Team Champion has been out of action since the September 12, 2022, episode of WWE RAW. She dropped the titles to Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai alongside her partner Raquel Rodriguez before taking a break due to an injury.
Aliyah recently stated that she's been cleared to wrestle since October. But her name was not mentioned in the latest draft despite being an active wrestler.

Although previous reports mentioned that WWE has seemingly forgotten about her, the former champion could return to the company after a 238-day hiatus. Aliyah's latest Instagram story showed her hanging out on Daytona Beach in Florida. The location is near the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, a 90-minute drive rather, which will host tonight's episode of WWE RAW.
Backstage reports on Aliyah further claimed that she was about to be pitched in a controversial love angle with Mansoor and Angle Garza. It was also reported that the star wanted a feminist approach to her character, but that the creative insisted otherwise, which affected her standing in the company.
There seem to be some serious issues between WWE and the Arab-Candian superstar. Triple H usually tries to negotiate with the talent as best as he can. If he succeeds, Aliyah could well make a comeback on the upcoming WWE RAW.
WWE RAW: Aliyah wanted to perform in front of the Saudi Arabian audience
Aliyah had a long run in the WWE developmental brand before she made it to the main roster. Debuting in 2015, she has fought against several notable stars, including Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, and Vanessa Borne.
Her initial run in NXT seemed promising, but she fell down the card leading up to 2018.
The 28-year-old was picked by SmackDown in the 2021 Draft, and she fulfilled her wish of participating in the Women's Royal Rumble the following year. But one accomplishment remains unfulfilled, as per her interview with Wrestling Inc.
"We're heading to Saudi for Elimination Chamber, and no matches have really been announced," Aliyah said. "It would be an honor to be the first-ever Arab female superstar to perform in the Middle East. That's always been a huge goal of mine."
Aliyah missed out on performing in Saudi Arabia last year, but she may get her wish soon. The upcoming Night of Champions Premium Live Event will be held in Jeddah on May 27.
