At Bash in Berlin, Randy Orton will step into the ring to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. While Gunther has beaten The Apex Predator controversially before, their upcoming showdown in Germany has a world title at stake.
It won't be surprising to see Gunther's ally, Ludwig Kaiser, trying to interfere during the match to turn the tide in the champion's favor. However, if Kaiser does end up doing something along these lines, Randy Orton's former rival Sheamus could end up saving him.
For those unaware, Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser are currently going at it on Monday Night RAW. Even on the latest episode of the red brand, the two superstars exchanged words, and during this interaction, the Irishman told Kaiser he would be watching him take an RKO.
As Sheamus predicted, the German superstar did receive an RKO in his main event match against Randy Orton on RAW. However, given he has this feud building with The Celtic Warrior, it won't be surprising to see the latter help Orton if the Imperium member tries to interfere in the title match at Bash in Berlin.
Ex-WWE writer blasts WWE for Randy Orton's predictable main event on Monday Night RAW
As mentioned above, Ludwig Kaiser faced Randy Orton in the main event of Monday Night RAW. Ahead of this match, there was no doubt about Orton being the favorite to win, and that's exactly what happened. While Orton received cheers, a former WWE writer blasted the promotion for this contest.
During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo mentioned he would like to go back and see the number of times the main event of the red show has been predictable. He said:
"I would love to go back and see just how many weeks in a row the main event has been 100% predictable. It feels like all year, every main event. This was a carbon copy of last week, bro. Just when they were not gonna take the belt off Bron Breakker when he just won it. Just like Kaiser isn't gonna go over Randy Orton when he's gotta face Gunther. These are house shows, bro." [8:12 onwards]
While Orton did get past Kaiser on RAW, it will be interesting to see what happens when he faces Gunther at Bash in Berlin next week. The Legend Killer has what it takes to beat The Ring General. However, it surely won't be an easy task.
