SmackDown will be a must-see affair this week after The Bloodline cost Jey Uso the Intercontinental Championship on RAW last Monday. It seems that the faction's civil war is likely going ahead full tilt now.
This week's show will also see the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther show up on the blue brand to confront the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes ahead of their Crown Jewel Championship Match on November 2.
That said, let's take a look at five things that can happen on SmackDown this Friday.
A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
#5. Nick Aldis makes LA Knight vs. Carmelo Hayes official for Crown Jewel
The current feud between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will probably come to an end this Friday, when the two collide for a seventh time, with the United States Champion LA Knight as Special Guest Referee.
The series is tied after six matches, and whoever wins this one will go on to face LA Knight for the title at Crown Jewel.
Andrade could get screwed over in the match, with Carmelo Hayes eventually winning the match and getting a shot at the United States Championship. Following a controversial ending, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis could show up and make the match official for Crown Jewel.
Given that Hayes is currently a heel, and LA Knight is a face, it would make more sense for WWE to proceed with this feud, instead of giving Andrade a title shot.
#4. Shinsuke Nakamura returns
It has been six months since Shinsuke Nakamura last showed up on WWE TV. While he hasn't appeared on SmackDown since moving to the blue brand in the WWE Draft in late April, the star has wrestled at live events and overseas tours.
If he is to appear on SmackDown, he could try to make a statement by targeting either LA Knight or Cody Rhodes. Nakamura is too big a name to be left unoccupied as the Royal Rumble kickstarts the Road to WrestleMania soon.
#3. Randy Orton calls out Triple H
Randy Orton is furious with Kevin Owens following the latter's assault and heel turn. The Viper wants a shot at KO, but Nick Aldis appears to be unable to schedule a match for Crown Jewel.
Aldis told Orton that he couldn't book a match with Owens, and this order came from upper management. Thus, the 14-time world champion could show up on Friday and call out WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, asking him to solve this problem. How The Game will respond to that, though, remains to be seen.
#2. Cody Rhodes and Gunther to fight on SmackDown
Gunther has confirmed that he will be on SmackDown on Friday and come face-to-face with Cody Rhodes. The two megastars will build up their Crown Jewel Championship Match in Saudi Arabia, but this time things might not be so quiet between the two.
Instead, the expectation is that Gunther and Rhodes will engage in a brawl to create more hype for the match at Crown Jewel in less than ten days.
#1. Jey Uso to destroy The Bloodline
Jey Uso will be out for revenge on Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline after their interference at the Intercontinental Championship Match on RAW last Monday.
Solo and co. got involved in the match and cost The Yeet Master the IC Title, allowing Bron Breakker to re-claim the championship.
Thus, Jey Uso will look to destroy The Bloodline and could do so with the help of Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, leading the original Bloodline to reunite and The Yeet Master making amends with his brother and the Original Tribal Chief.
