WWE Clash at the Castle is done and dusted and the focus now shifts to building towards the next major premium live event, Money in the Bank, set to take place on July 6 next month.
Money in the Bank is one of the must-watch shows of WWE's calendar year. There is a possibility that the event this year will feature a massive return of none other than Seth 'Freakin' Rollins.
Seth has been out of action since WrestleMania 40 due to a torn meniscus. It will be indeed to interesting to see if he makes his sensational return in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Major hint in the Money in the Bank poster
The official 2024 Money in the Bank poster was released a few months ago, and interestingly Seth Rollins is one of the many stars featured on it.
While being on the poster doesn't guarantee his presence at the PLE, it's still an important detail to consider. WWE typically plans these promotional materials months in advance, which could hint at Rollins' involvement.
Seth Rollins was recently seen working out
After WrestleMania 40, Seth Rollins underwent knee surgery for his torn meniscus. Recent reports suggest that the surgery went very well and Rollins is on track with his recovery.
A clip recently went viral showing Rollins working out in his wrestling academy. This has led fans to believe that he may be returning to in-ring action sooner rather than later. Rollins' performances on both nights at WrestleMania 40 were lauded by all concerned, and this was with him carrying an injury. A fully healed and refreshed Rollins would indeed be a big asset for WWE.
Seth Rollins was recently mentioned on WWE SmackDown
One notable sign of a star's impending return in WWE is often the subtle mentions of the particular star during weekly programming. Last week on WWE SmackDown, during the face-to-face segment between AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes, The Phenomenal One referenced Seth Rollins.
He remarked that while Cody might have overcome adversity during his Hell in a Cell match against Rollins, he was now facing AJ Styles instead, not Rollins. Although this may seem insignificant, it is interesting to see the former Universal Champion brought up in such a context, possibly signalling Rollins' much anticipated return.
