#2 Edge-The Rated-R WWE Champion
Speaking of Edge, he has an opportunity to win a championship coming up against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Reigns defeated the multi-time world champion at WrestleMania in a Triple Threat Match with Daniel Bryan as well.
Now that they are competing against each other in a one-on-one match, it may work out in Edge’s favor but Reigns has been quite unstoppable.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Edge is an 11 time world champion so he knows what it is like to be on the top of the roster and a face of the company.
He was the first-ever WWE Money in the Bank winner, and that changed his career. Once he won the Money in the Bank match and cashed in to win the championship, he was in the main event picture for years after.
Unfortunately, after successfully defending his 11th championship at WrestleMania 27, he was forced to relinquish the championship due to injury.
The injury would cause the Hall of Famer to retire for just about 10 years. Once he was cleared to wrestle once again, he made his shocking return to the 2020 WWE Royal Rumble.
As great as it is to see Edge back in the ring, he just does not need another WWE Championship run to solidify his already epic career.
His return provides an opportunity for fans to see him in matches they never thought they would be able to. Competing against stars like Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens would make for matches that would have every fan on the edge of their seats.
Edge was a great WWE World Champion and is one of the best to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots, but if he wants to put on these dream matches for the fans, then there is no need for him to have another championship run.
