This one is tough because Kofi Kingston is one of the hardest-working stars in WWE and deserves to be in the championship spotlight. Kofi Kingston won his only WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35, which was later called KofiMania by his fans.

After chasing the dream and being a fan favorite for 11 years, he finally reached the top…just to lose to Brock Lesnar in less than 10 seconds a few months later.

The WWE Universe was outraged at the decision because Kingston was an exciting champion and his work with The New Day was even more entertaining.

He successfully made Brock Lesnar look like a monster, but it cost him the main event spotlight as he was just put right back into the tag team picture.

It has been over two years now but Kingston is finally going to be competing in a high-caliber championship match against WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at Money in the Bank.

The odds are once again not in Kingston’s favor though. Lashley is very similar to Lesnar and has been on a roll since winning the championship.

If the rumors of Brock Lesnar coming back are true, then it would only make sense to have titans like Lashley and Lesnar finally battle it out.

This would mean that Kingston would just be a stepping-stone and Lashley would move on to Lesnar, putting him right back to square one.

As glorious and deserving as KofiMania was, his time as champion may have passed but it does not mean he cannot help others achieve their dreams.

His New Day brother Big E has been rising up the ranks on SmackDown. Since the draft is coming back up, it may be time to put the team of The New Day back together again.

Kingston could help Big E reach the top of the ladder and with that, bring the championship back home to The New Day. It would be a great role for him and would do nothing but help make Big E an even bigger star.
