The upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW will be the go-home edition of the red brand for SummerSlam 2024. Therefore, fans can expect some huge surprises from the show tonight, which will accentuate the ongoing feuds and rivalries on RAW. One of those surprises could be the return of a former WWE Champion.
The name in question is Kofi Kingston, who has been away from television due to injury. The prospect of his return arises due to Xavier Woods' upcoming match against Karrion Kross on Monday Night RAW. The feud between The New Day and The Final Testament has been going on for months on the red brand without intending to stop.
Unable to defeat the heel faction last week in a Six-Man Tag Team Match, the erstwhile King Woods decided to go one-on-one with The Doom Walker tonight on the show. This is expected to turn into a one-sided dominance with The Final Testament once again cornering The New Day member and wreaking havoc.
However, just when Woods would be on the verge of yet another assault tonight, Kofi Kingston could make a shocking return. The former WWE Champion could come out to help his stablemate from the heel faction. Moreover, Kingston has scores to settle with Karrion Kross and AOP as their actions led to his injury.

Hence, the veteran superstar could come back looking for a bloodbath against The Final Testament. Though this is just mere speculation, the possibility of it happening is quite good.
Kofi Kingston competed with Xavier Woods recently, despite his absence on RAW
Kofi Kingston has been away from WWE television for quite some time due to suffering a beatdown from The Final Testament. However, despite his hiatus, the former WWE Champion recently competed in a tag team match with Xavier Woods, which was part of WWE's tour to Japan.
This came from the WWE Supershow Japan in Tokyo, Japan that took place on July 26, 2024. Woods and Kingston teamed up to battle Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in a spectacular contest for the World Tag Team Championship. However, The New Day suffered defeat in the match.
Kofi Kingston competing in a non-televised match despite being on hiatus seems to be a major hint that he is gearing up for a massive return on Monday Night RAW. The veteran superstar may be medically cleared to compete and therefore he could soon make his presence felt on the red brand.
Upon his comeback, he could once again get involved in the ongoing saga between The New Day and The Final Testament. It will be interesting to see how this rivalry shapes up in the coming weeks on RAW and where it ultimately leads.
