Ever since Becky Lynch was spotted in the Netflix teaser of WWE RAW, fans have been wondering if she could finally show up at next week's show. The Man has been away from the spotlight after her deal with the company expired in May 2024.
Over the last few weeks, several reports have indicated Lynch's impending return after RAW moves to the global streaming platform. This belief was further solidified when she appeared at Netflix Media Day for WWE a few weeks back and was featured in the teaser to promote the red brand's move to the popular OTT platform.
Considering just how highly-anticipated the January 6, 2025 episode of RAW is, fans can expect WWE to pull off quite a few surprises that could pop the fans. One of them could be the return of Becky Lynch. However, to make the moment truly count, the Stamford-based promotion could book another return that could bring the house down. Former Divas Champion AJ Lee, who has been heavily referenced, alongside Lynch, in the ongoing storyline between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, could make her sensational return after nearly 10 years of absence from wrestling. Lee's last match was on the March 30, 2015 episode of RAW.

Punk and Rollins' rivalry has become too personal, and the added layer of Punk's wife, Lee, and Rollins' wife, Lynch, trading barbs could further escalate things. There's also the outside chance of the two getting involved in Punk and Rollins' match, which could set the stage for a showdown between them down the line.
That said, this is mere speculation at this point, as neither Becky Lynch nor AJ Lee have been officially confirmed to appear at RAW's Netflix debut next week.
CM Punk on AJ Lee's potential WWE return
A few weeks back in an interview, CM Punk was asked the very familiar question about AJ Lee's potential WWE comeback after almost a decade of absence. Though The Second City Saint didn't give any clear-cut answer on when his wife would be back, he did mention that AJ Lee's return would be much bigger than his.
"That's the fun thing about wrestling fans. They look for stuff that necessarily isn't there. That's kind of the fun of it. Everyone is talking about, 'Who is going to main event WrestleMania?' 'Who is going to enter the Royal Rumble?' 'Who is going to comeback?' They are always looking around this time of year for big returns. I had mine last year, I think hers would be bigger than mine," Punk said.
AJ Lee last competed for WWE way back in March 2015 and has since then carved a successful career for herself in screenwriting.
