Bayley will put her WWE Women's Championship on the line this Saturday at Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event against Piper Niven, who is getting a title match after a long time.

Even though The Role Model is the favorite to win, there is still a chance she could have Piper Niven's partner, Chelsea Green, interfere and try to cost her the title. She is not the only female superstar who could get involved in the match. Instead, we could see a former champion make her return after one and a half years away from WWE.

This is no other than Alexa Bliss. She has been out since the 2023 Royal Rumble, as she was pregnant, and hasn't returned since then. Her return has been rumored for several weeks now, but it is yet unclear when she will return. Alexa's return at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event to start a feud with Bayley would make sense since Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are expected to headline the action on RAW once The Eradicator is back from her shoulder injury.

On SmackDown, things are different. Bayley has challengers waiting for a title opportunity, and Bliss could also enter the picture. In that scenario, the former women's champion could interfere in the title match, costing Bayley the championship, and keep her intention hidden until Uncle Howdy and his Wyatt 6 faction debut.

That way, Alexa Bliss would reveal her identity, officially joining the faction. At the same time, it would help start a feud between the two megastars that will lead to a match at Summerslam on August 3.

Piper Niven will look to dethrone Bayley and claim the WWE Women's Championship for the first time. However, she has a difficult task, as the reigning champion is considered one of the company's top stars.

Heading into her title match, Piper Niven had an interview with PWInsider. She had high praise for the reigning champion and in-ring wrestling skills.

"I have a huge amount of respect for Bayley. I think she is Incredibly talented. I think she brings out the best in her opponents and I really think that is that’s something that should be respected not just as a fan but as a fellow performer and you really admire the people that work like that and another performer like that comes to mind, Shawn Michaels, so I really do have a lot of respect for her, but. With that in mind I’ll try and keep that respect in mind when I’m drilling her head into the mat and taking her belt off her," Niven said. [H/T 411Mania]

Heading into the final SmackDown before Clash at the Castle this Friday, it remains to be seen if any stipulation will be added to the match to ensure that no interference will occur.
