Former WWE star David Ferrier dies at 52

Former WWE tag-team champion David Ferrier better known as Jimmy Del Rey in the WWE and Jimmy Graffiti in WCW suffered a heart attack last night and passed away at the age of 52.

Ferrier gained fame during his time in the WWE as a member of The Heavenly Bodies faction alongside Jim Cornette and Tom Prichard. They competed in the 1993 SummerSlam pay-per-view where they lost to The Steiner Brothers. Their stint with the WWE ended in 1994 SummerSlam which was their last ever appearance. The team later appeared for ECW and Del Ray went on to WCW as Jimmy Graffiti.

Del Rey has been residing in Florida recently where he was running a flooring company. He made his final wrestling appearance this past summer, reuniting with Cornette and Prichard at the Mid-Atlantic Legends Fanfest.
